15 Celeb Looks In African Fashion

Now you know that no Miami Culture Maven's wardrobe would be complete without a little fiercely bold African Fashion and who better to find inspiration from than the celebs we all adore and aspire to carry ourselves like! {After all, we should all celebrate ourselves like celebrities in my opinion} Here are my fav top 30 celeb looks in African Fashion!

I love Solange's look from the Cover of Elle South Africa circa Nov 2012. So timeless and perfect for spring 2015!

At first glance this looks like an Ankara print romper that Draya is rocking but upon closer examination it's definitely a two piece to die for! Check out her swim line Mint-Swim

One of my low key favorite artists Nicki Minaj {Shout out to queens} is even sporting the bold African print look for an unexpected red carpet look!

In a previous post "Inspiration From Queen Bey" I paid homage to Beyonce's affinity for African Fashion oh so street chic delish!

Daughter of the Run DMC empire and entrepreneur in her own right Angela Simmons is absolutely regal in this more traditional Nigerian design by Tope Abiloa. The box braids give this look such a great finishing touch!

Caught a glimpse of fashion icon Kimora Lee Simmons rocking her African gown and looking so red carpet ready! The mermaid cut is always so flaterring.

No matter your own cultural background, African Fashion is now a statement across the board. Check out rockstar Gwen Stefani in her mix~and~match Ankara blazer & pants looking as confident & playful as ever!

India Arie's red carpet look for The BET Gospel awards was quite stunning. Gotta love a dress with pockets & I'm loving the low cut on her too. She looks like an African Queen!

This one is so not my style but I must admit Amber Rose slayed this look! It's like Ankara meets John Lennon.

Some critics called this African inspired look on Kim Kardashian "Nubian Empress". So I'm not all for the name since she's clearly not Nubian but the dress is very cute for a Miami night out on the town. Would totally rock a turquoise shoe myself!

Bad Gal Riri worked this dress out hunny! Love the attitude she brings to the African Fashion world, so unapologetic with it!

Oprah Winfrey went all the way traditional when she traced her roots to Liberia a few years ago. I ain't mad either {although I would love to see her in some Liberian inspired street style}

I'm lovin this bold black & yellow batik African mini skirt on Khloe Kardashian. It's clearly the bold decision {which we love}

Nia Long was so cute at the BET awards in her super fitted tribal print tube dress

Top model Eva Marcille is winning in this two piece look! Check out the statement necklace & iconic hair style. I'm drooling! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
